Description Testosterone is metabolized by human Cyp 2C9, Cyp 2C19 and Cyp 3A4. The Cyp 3A4 isoenzyme is solely responsible for the human testosterone metabolite 6β-Hydroxytestosterone. In this protocol the level of 6β-Hydroxytestosterone and testosterone found in the liver efflux media is used as a monitor of liver induction or inhibition.
